Starting a class like SAT prep can be a little slow going initially, but it will pick. This is after all only a one semester class. That said, we started our class with taking a SAT diagnostic test. As you probably noticed the SAT is a lengthy and rigorous test; and as mentioned in class, will mentally and emotionally challenge you. However, don't fret, remain calm and focus on the question before you, and DO THE BEST YOU CAN. Through this honest assessment of your skills I will get to know where I will need to spend more time. Additionally however, and more importantly, you will know what you should be focusing on outside of class on those pockets of time on the weekend. What I have mentioned to students in the past is that if you dedicate yourself for a few weeks to practicing the SAT and refreshing some skills, you can make significant changes to your score. Thus, this diagnostic will provide us a base line from which to begin. I will do my part, I am hoping you will do yours.

I know school has not officially started but I am excited to be teaching the SAT Prep. course this year.
